It has been said time and again that what doesn’t kill you, will surely strengthen you. So when it came in the news that Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa (Afia Schwarzenegger) has escaped death after suffering from electrocution, little did we know that it will empower and strengthen her in the long run.
Due to the ordeal she went through, she has decided to advise all and sundry to avoid that enticing death trap for dear life.
After using her Black Berry phone for a day, she decided to recharge it for the next day’s business one evening. While keeping the phone powered, a call from one of her numerous friends and fans came through which needed to be answered at all cost. The single mother of two (twins) answered the call without disconnecting the phone from its power source and that was when the unexpected happened.
She said she never realized anything until the next day when she saw people visiting her on her hospital bed. The few people who were around have confirmed that they saw Afia Schwarzenegger flying in the air with the phone as if she was given wings at that time. As at the time of going to press, the trouble phone was seen with broken screens yet Afia says she will not throw the phone away or repair it so it can be used as a lesion to her and her friends.
After she had recovered from the shock, her complexion was changed from fair to a real dark one.
She is now recovering from some of the health hazards she suffered in the process, but even in her solemn moment, she gave out this advice to all her numerous fans who will be reading this story.
“It is just by God’s grace that I am still alive today people. There are some things you might not take serious in life until they happen to you. My humble advise is that don’t wait till it happens to you because who knows, maybe in your case it can be deadly and you will not get the chance to even advise people with your experience.
Never use your phones in any way to receive or make calls when they are being charged. The best thing to do is to disconnect the phone from the power source before using it to talk. It’s always better to save your life than to say that unnecessary hello in that phone which can shorten you life span.
Since I recovered, I have been advising people on my radio programme on Happy FM but I feel I have to increase my scope now so I can reach a good number of people. Ghana needs everybody alive so let’s be careful friends” she advised.**
