The former Member of Parliament and Minister of Trade Hon Murtala Mohammed, has accused Senior Minister Yaw Osafo Maafo Of being one of the most corrupt ministers in the government.
He stated this, on Radio Gold’s Alhaji and Alhaji program, and alleged that it was due to this same corruption situation that was why he was removed by President Kufuor during his tenure, following the issue of the Macmillan scandal which involved the printing of some books for Ghanaian schools supervised by Mr Osafo Maafo as the then Education Minister.
Recently, as the Senior Minister under president Akufo-Addo, budgetary allocation for his ministry was rejected by parliament.
It is on the backdrop of this, the former Member of Parliament and the minister is levelling such allegations against the senior minister as he has been hit by another scandal again in the Akufo-Addo Administration as well.
