‘Our slay queens went mad, that’s why Cardi B refused to meet them’ - DKB

Given that Ghanaian comedian, DKB keeps thrilling patrons with his enthralling performances whenever he is behind the microphone, one can arguably say that he is a pro when it comes to comedy.

Delivering his rib-cracking performance, the comedian joked about the real reason why American pop star, Cardi B refused to honour the ‘meet and greet’ session during her visit to Ghana.

Detailing the reasons, DKB said, “It wasn’t Cardi B’s fault and the slay queens went mad because their brains got tortured. The red wires touched the blue wires” he noted.

DKB said the weave-ons donned by the Ghanaian stars who were poised to meet Cardi B should partly be blamed for the “no show”.

“Eeeeei chaley women! Is this how you suffer, I don’t know it’s like there is a rope pulling my neck and there is heat all around my neck. Am actually wearing a microwave. It’s hot oooh see! It’s like the devil is breathing around my neck. DKB indicated as he performed with a wig cap".

Recounting the embarrassment some Ghanaian celebrities suffered at the hands of Cardi B at Kempinski Hotel, DKB explained that "the slay queens were so hurt. You see somebody can disappoint you eeeer and you will turn into a newscaster. I remember Victoria Lebene’s video saying ; ladies and gentlemen there are some things that are not fair, people don’t deserve to be treated that way. let me go for a commercial break. Aboa!” He noted.

Many celebrities thronged the Kempinski Hotel in Accra to interact with Cardi B who was billed to perform at the Livespot X Festival at the Accra Sports Stadium Sunday night.

But the situation got quite tense when Cardi B was conspicuously missing. After waiting for close to six hours, the Ghanaian celebrities flared up.

In their anger, some took to social media to express their dissatisfaction with the development and condemned the rapper who is also an actress for her behavior.

According to them, Cardi B was eating khebab at the hotel’s poolside while they stood in the basement of the hotel hoping to meet her.

Social media reacted hilariously to the development after some celebrities lashed out at the rapper for disrespecting them.

But at a meet the press session after most of the celebrities had left the venue, Cardi B said she had no intentions to keep anyone waiting.

According to her, the promoters of the event did not inform her about a scheduled meet and greet with celebrities, adding that it was not in her nature to disrespect others.
