For the first time since its inception, Ovation International Magazine, Africa’s No.1 Celebrity journal is hosting its famous ‘Ovation Carol & Awards’ in Accra, Ghana on Saturday December 14, 2013 at the State House Banquet Hall under the theme, ‘it’s all about hope’.

The 6th Edition of this special charity event will feature the wonderful Winneba Youth Choir (which incidentally is also celebrating its 25th anniversary). There will be star performances by artistes from Ghana and Nigeria with a top International award-winning artiste as special guest.

This year, like the previous editions, will provide a platform for spreading the message of hope among Africans, donating to a charitable cause, honouring some outstanding individuals and in addition, celebrating the lives of two of Africa’s greats: late Professor Kofi Awoonor and Nelson Mandela.

The Ovation Carol & Awards is the largest Pan-African Concert. It is a star-studded event that will be attended by the best and brightest stars, business moguls and top-rate celebrities from across the continent.

Usually an evening of glamour, colour and undiluted fun, the event which has been running since 2007 in Nigeria will be broadcast live on TV in Africa ( Hip TV, DSTV Channel 324), Ghana (GHone) and Europe (OHTV). And also streamed live on the internet via www.ondbox.com.

As part of its campaign for the event, in aid of charitable causes, a first-class, „Akwaaba’ celebrity-only photo-shoot was organised where over 35 celebrities gathered to support this incredible event with each of them wearing a touch of red.

The Red Carol has for years been the biggest end-of-year event in Nigeria-and we are certain that this Ghana adventure will be even bigger. It is STRICTLY by invitation and dress code is as usual: A Touch of Red.
