At the 'Beat of Africa' Fashion Show at Altaroma in September, Mina Evans displayed her new spring summer 2015 collection that was inspired by mapping contour lines and sun-dyed fabric.
For the 4th year, ITC Ethical Fashion Initiative collaborates with Altaroma to bring fashion talent from Africa to Rome.
This year’s edition featured Duaba Serwa, and Mina Evans from Ghana, Jewel by Lisa, a special guest from Nigeria and the much coveted Stella Jean, who now works with EFI across all regions.
The brand also has a menswear dress shirt range which is carefree and cool with a hint of afro-centricity. Mina Evans stormed the African fashion market with the “Jewels & Tulle” collection captured by the popular lifestyle show ‘Studio 53’ in 2010.
