Ladies who refuse to pamper their men risk having others take up that responsibility and this could lead to them losing the relationship, renowned marriage Counselor Dr. Mrs. Charlotte Oduro has advised.
“I am surprised when we say pamper your husband they have issues…your own man? Who should pamper him for you? You need to do it before somebody will do it for you”, she revealed on Accra-based Hitz Fm monitored by MyNewsGh.com.
According to her, there are others hungry out there willing to grab such a glorious opportunity explaining it is not an endorsement for men to cheat.
The outspoken Counselor sparked a heated debate recently when she advised married women to pamper their husbands with mouthwatering gifts such as brand new cars, phones, movie tickets and many others.
She said it’s wrong for wives to always be at the receiving end entreating them to inculcate the habit of also surprising their husbands with gifts.
“Men have got ego, that is how they are, but you can change it, women need to submit, no matter what, men are the heads of families, giving him that respect doesn’t mean you are a fool. When he comes home, give him food to eat and make love to him. Let’s stop the fight of asking who you talked to, where did you go, it’s getting to a point where we have grown. Women grow and stop being suspicious, whoever calls is not your business, do your part as a woman in the home, and that is it,’ she warned wives.
