Pastor Love has issued another apology to those who were disappointed by his recent outbursts directed at his ex-wife, Obaapa Christy.

He explained that his comments stemmed from a place of deep personal hurt, particularly from his feelings about how he had struggled to build her career from scratch, only to feel that his efforts were dismissed.

He said: "Experiencing pain when someone you helped does not acknowledge your contributions can be very painful. Even if you don't express gratitude, it's important not to speak ill of those who helped you. My outbursts were triggered by what my ex-wife did.

"I have endured a lot because of her. If you see a successful artiste today, remember that someone likely endured significant hardship to help them get there."

He went on to recount his efforts, saying, "I traveled all over the country for promotions, something that isn't necessary today because social media makes it easier for emerging artistes. I did all the work for her while she stayed home, and I brought her the results. Songwriting is a challenging task, and I supported her through it. My efforts were significant, and I suffered greatly in the process."

Pastor Love asked for forgiveness from Ghanaians, both within the country and abroad, and has committed to completely severing ties with Obaapa Christy.

"I am asking for forgiveness from everyone. It will not happen again. May God bless you all," he said. "If Christy claims I never helped her, I leave that to God. All I can say is God bless her. My family and I are grateful to her. You won't hear me speak about her again, and we will never communicate again."

He also offered advice to couples, urging them to treat each other with respect and kindness.

First apology

Previously, in an interview with Peace FM, Pastor Love apologized specifically to the pastors he had accused of being involved with his ex-wife and to the Ghanaian public.

He attributed his comments to anger and acknowledged that, as a human being, he is prone to making mistakes.

Obaapa Christy's response:

In response to the insults and curses, Obaapa Christy firmly denied the allegations and curses leveled against her.

In a social media post, she described them as lies and part of a demonic plot aimed at destroying her.
