Fast-rising Ghanaian musician, Patapaa Amisty, has reacted to comments from popular actress and political figure, Grace Omaboe, concerning his song, ‘One Corner’.

Grace Omaboe, also known as Maame Dokono is alleged to have stated that the song and its dance are promoting promiscuity among the youth. She is reported to have further stated on television that “One Corner is a bad song and a bad influence on the youth.

I think it should be banned because it’s not a good song, it’s backed by spiritual things”. In a report by mynewsgh, Patapaa responded to her statements by saying that he is tired of calls from sections of the Ghanaian public for a ban on the song.

According to him, he has had his share of suffering in life and would therefore not take it lightly if someone tries to ‘attack’ his song. In that respect, he sent a word of caution to Maame Dokono to stay away from the song.

The ‘One Corner’ song has gained the attention of several people in and outside Ghana. A number of people have however called for its ban, citing the promotion of immorality as the main reason.
