“That Thing”, the title of this dance-able song features The G.O.A.T and award-winning Ghanaian music artiste – Patapaa.
Patapaa seems to be having the Midas touch to making hit songs these days. On the production fronts, we have Article Wan.
Meanwhile, Ghanaian artiste, Patapaa, has asked his fans to stop calling him by that name.
According to the ‘One Corner’ hitmaker, he has changed his name from Patapaa to Patapeezy, a name given to him by comedian Funny Face.
Patapaa in a video shot in France expressed gratitude to Funny Face for hyping him after the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards and then asked his fans to call him by the name given to him by Patapeezy.
He said he was dropping Patapaa to use the name Funny Face gave him.
“Funny Face gave me good hype and also gave me a new name, Patapeezy. I left the name Patapaa in South Africa. No one should call me Patapaa again. I’m not Patapaa. Call me Patapeezy; else I’ll take you to court. We have changed the name Patapaa, and now it is Patapeezy,” he said.
Patapaa who got into mainstream music in 2017 after he performed his ‘One Corner’ song at the Agona Swedru Akwambo Festival, is currently one of the hottest artists in the country.
He has generated a lot of controversy with his style of dressing and choice of lyrics.
