Mufty Dabre, the Chief Executive Officer of ?D Squared? an event organizing company whose major aim was to help shape the artiste management in the country never saw his dream come true although he had his second concept dubbed ?Tankas? that was scheduled to roll soon on our screens.

He was believed to be suffering from an ailment for barely two years now and according to reliable sources series of medical tests conducted on him at the Holy Trinity hospital proved negative. Although he was not fit health wise he never stopped doing was he loves doing most.

He was always on air and presenting at most entertainment functions that ware organized and a clear example was the recent Ghana music awards which he received an award on behalf of his artiste, Ofori Amponsah. He decided to travel to Kumasi to visit his sister and also to take some rest and get an antidote to his unknown ailment.

After some days in Kumasi with his sister Aisha he complained of headache and was rushed to Suntreso Hospital but unfortunately wicked death laid its icy hands on him. The 41-years old young man from Bawku and a Moslem by birth was laid in state in his family house that very day and also buried at the Tafo cemetery in Kumasi.

The burial service was witnessed by the management and staff of Despite Group of Companies, which included staff from Peace FM and Hello FM and also colleagues from other media houses, musicians, actors and so on. The man he always give credit to for his success in life Fadda Dickson, his way back friend and brother Fiifi Banson, the C.E.O and the rest of the crew present couldn?t stand and watch him being buried, broke down in tears and wept bitterly to bid Mufty farewell and also pay their last tribute to him.

The ?Aduwa? was also performed for him in Accra at Nii Boi Town on Sunday to conclude the funeral rites for the late Mufty Dabre. Management of Despite Group of Companies also organized a funeral to show their love for the parted colleague and people from all walks of life also came there to mourn with them. He was single but left behind a two-year lovely daughter Relwaana Amaama Dabre.

But as at time of going to press the question everybody kept asking was, were is his Artistes Ofori Amponsah and Kofi Nti? Are they not aware of Mufty?s death? Is there truly some secret behind his death as people are speculating? Did he know he was going to die in Kumasi that was why he left his cell phone and car in Accra before leaving? Well, we hope these questions will be unravelled some day.

Also Weekly Fylla wishes to extend their sincere sympathy to his entire family, management and staff of Despite Group of Companies.
