Waking up every day with scars that remind you of a previous pain can be challenging, especially as an artiste. How do you come back from the constant reminder and the pain of what has been lost?
Kwaku T was a household name in Ghana music in the early 2000s and he gave us smash hits like the ever popular Kwaku Tutu which he featured Eazzy. He also took part in Big Brother Africa 2007 and moved to South Africa after the show where he made a living for himself…an then there was that unfortunate fire that threatened to take his life.
People and Places put its spotlight on Kwaku Tutu, aka Kwaku T and had an interesting conversation with him about life after the fire, his journey back home, his new projects, how the music industry has changed and most especially the scars from the fire.
