People think I smoke because I hang out with R2Bees – Efya

Celebrities around the world are addicted to one thing or the other. If not drug then chronic womanising on the part of the guys. The same story can be told in Ghana. Although, in the outside world, celebrities don’t debunk rumors pertaining to their addictions but the story is different in Ghana even if they’re caught red-handed.

Efya, award winning vocalist, has reacted to public perception about her addiction to smoking weed. However, Efya in a an interview with Delay revealed that people thought that way because she hanged around R2Bees who made their smoking activities public. “I think it is the boys” She told Delay.

“Paedae, R2bees — they put it out there when they’re smoking and because of my affiliation with them and everything. But I don’t think that should be a point. I don’t think just because I hang around with people that smoke you should think that I smoke too”
