‘Stay home and prevent the spread‘ is one of the key messages which has been trumpeted on various mediums during this period the world is trying to find the most viable means to deal with the coronavirus pandemic.
Even though this message has been received by many, it seems that the very people health workers and the leaders of the country are trying to protect from the deadly virus do not care to say the least.
At every point in time, a report about the disease is reported, you get to hear that many people, who do not either belong to the class of essential service workers or have anything important to do are out there going about their business as if nothing is wrong.
On Sunday, April 12, many ‘unthinking’ revelers decided to pack themselves at the Chorkor beach and have fun despite the ban on public gatherings and reports that Ghana has so far recorded 636 cases with 8 deaths.
Against this sad and heartbreaking backdrop, multiple award-winning Ghanaian film director, Peter Sedufia has put together a very educative piece fussed with humor to drum home the point about staying at home to prevent the spread of the disease.
In the interesting video he created, he used bloggers/vloggers Monte OZ, Zionfelix, Kwadwo Sheldon and TMGH Live as cast to make the point that not even money should make you think of stepping out during this period.
