Photos: Cast of new Shatta TV series unveiled

The cast of new dramatic and comic series, Shatta TV were unveiled at a press soiree at the Chop Bar restaurant in Accra over the weekend.

They include both old and new faces in showbiz including Strika of “Beast of No Nation” fame, Deborah Vanessa, veteran actress Belinda Oku (Adwoa Smart), Roselyn Ngissah, rapper Medikal, Katie Emerson (a celebrated U.K actress), Yaa Baby and Two Thoozin.

Director of the new TV series, Kofi Awuah is behind some TV productions including Amakye and Dede and Cocoa Brown. A number of other famous personalities were also present at the event.

According to him, he sought the consent of dancehall artiste Shatta Wale before using the brand name ‘Shatta’ for the production. It is set air in the coming weeks.

The press soiree was hosted by hiplife Artiste Nana Appiah (Kontihene).
