Ghana’s Albert Apozora Ayisoba known in showbiz circles as King Ayisoba took his Russian fans by storm with his world acclaimed ‘Kologo’ when he performed over the weekend at the International Musical Forum in St. Petersburg, the second largest city in the Russian Federation.

The hosting of the show, which sold out so well, was coordinated by Semanou Orlando Franklin (aka BOGA) a Ghanaian Telecommunications student in St. Petersburg.

King Ayisoba who is currently on an European tour took his African and Russian fans through some of his hit songs such as ‘I want to see you my father’ much to the delight of the packed audience who seemed to be enjoying Ghanaian music live for the very first time.

King Ayisoba later granted an exclusive interview with Mr. Ralph Kwame Boateng on Nash Radio (radionash.com), an online radio initiative of NUGS-RUSSIA that is currently serving Ghanaians in Russia, the CIS and beyond.

He spoke to Mr. Kwame Boateng on a wide range of issues concerning his personal and professional life. He also spoke of his upcoming album to be released soon.

Ghanaians who listened to King Ayisoba’s interview expressed delight at his appearance in Russia to raise high the flag of Ghana. He gave listeners a taste of his real presence on “radionash” with a freestyle delivery of his super-patriotic hit track “I represent Ghana everywhere I go”.

Well wishes and many congratulatory messages poured in from excited listeners which included Governor Samuel of Veliky Novgorod, Queen Joaniska of Moscow and the President of NUGS-Russia, Mr. Frank Adusei Poku.

He has since left the Russian Federation for Belgium.
