Ohemaa Mercy who is known in private life as Mercy Twum Ampofo discovered her singing talents at aged 10 after receiving a life-defining prophesy from Elder Mireku a renowned Evangelist of the Pentecostal Church in Ghana.
The “Wobeye kese” singer is one of Ghana's finest gospel stars with over 5 hit albums to her credit.
Her recent album “Prophesy” produced by Media Excel Productions is currently receiving massive airplay and generating traffic on social media sites.
Based on her outstanding achievements, Ohemaa had toured the United States and Europe and performed to a large audience at various venues filled to capacity.
The gospel icon has won several awards including Best Gospel Artiste at the Canadian Gospel Music Awards 2010 with her album, ‘Wobeye Kese.’
She manages the Ohemaa Mercy Foundation, which seeks to offer support for needy but brilliant children in the country.
