The Accra Sports Stadium was electrified with performances from various Ghanaian musicians who gathered on June 30 to generate funds for the flood and fire victims of the June 3 disaster in Accra.
The event which started exactly at 10 pm ended around 2 AM on Wednesday. The event started with gospel musician, Ewura Abena entertaining the crowd with her melodious voice.
After her was fast rising Youtube star, Adomaa who also came to put up an awesome performance with her silky voice.
Then came some underground acts which was quickly followed with a long list of A-list gospel musicians. DSP Kofi Sarpong, Cwesi Oteng, Ohemaa Mercy, O.J, Celestine Donkor, Nero X and other musicians came on stage to help glorify the name of THE MOST HIGH GOD.
After we gave thanks and praises to God, it was time to make ourselves dirty at the stadium. Rex Omar, Ben Brako, Gyedu Blay Ambolley, Gena West and a couple of other highlife artistes also took to stage to perform.
Right after the old school musicians came Wiyaala, Irene Logan, Kwabena Kwabena, Keche, Becca, Efya, Raquel, Trigmatic, Tinny and many other musicians who also made sure fans at the event ground were entertained.
In attendance of the concert were MUSIGA president, Obour, Deputy Minister for Tourism, Madam Abla Dzifa Gormashie, UNAIDS’ country director, Mr. Girmay Haile Prince David Osei, Bola Ray and many others.
The show dubbed “All Star Unity Concert” was hosted by KOD, Sammy Forson, Commotion, Stacy Amoateng and others. DJ Breezy was also on the turntables to exhibit his skills.
