You can always count on red carpet events such as the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) to bring out some of the boldest, over-the-top and show-stopping styles. This 16th edition surely did not disappoint.
The biggest trend for this year’s event was long fitting gowns worn by the ladies and beautifully designed caftans and suits by the men.
This year’s edition of the VGMAs had a bigger representation by female celebrities including Christabel Ekeh, Berla Mundi, Lydia Forson and Mz Vee (who won the Best New Artiste of the Year) who represented in stunning outfits while the men; Benny Blanco, Kwame Farkye among others were also not left out as they stepped up to the fashion game.
A night of glitz and glamour it was at the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards with black, white and red was displayed in clothing for the event.
Dancehall artiste Episode chose a rather outlandish outfit looking like a pilot with entourage dressed like flight attendants.
Gospel group No Tribe styled up with hats over clothes from Abrantee Collection. Debbie also wore a Basket Gown designed by Wusua's Diary while Yvonne Nelson wore a black tank top over a matching skinny skirt.
Other designers whose clothes represented on the red carpet of the VGMAs included Zara, Horseman Shoes, Elikem The Tailor, Duaba Serwa, Madlin Maude, Tony Senaya, Odeneho Wear, Nineteen57, Kwabs Custom Designs among many others.
