Efia Odo has wondered why, out of the many things that were discussed during the Rants, Bants, and Confessions podcast, it has been issues about her relationship and sex life that have triggered Ghanaians' interest the most.

This was after a netizen took to X to question why all the attention suddenly diverted to Efia Odo and Kwesi Arthur, adding that most people did not listen to the entire discussion.

"Some of the youth in Ghana are h0rny! You see how y'all are talking about Efia Odo and Kwesi Arthur because s€x was somehow involved, crucifying Gisela for whatever she said about her dad, and y’all didn’t pay attention to the latter part of the podcast. We’re not serious!" The tweep wrote.

This post caught the attention of Efia Odo, prompting a reaction from her.

Efia Odo, who has since been fighting critics online after parts of the interview where she spoke about Kwesi Arthur went viral, sided with the X user who sought to defend her.

She replied, "It goes to show that we don’t take serious things seriously in this country. They’re more concerned about who I Dey chop. So why fight for these people anyway," she wrote in displeasure.

What Efia Odo said in the podcast

Efia Odo indicated that Kwesi Arthur had done some terrible things to her that destroyed their friendship.

Expressing the extent to which Kwesi Arthur had offended her, she said, “Yes, I was once supporting him but you know Kwesi did some hurtful things to me. I don’t want to say it here because I respect him as a person. If I was to say the things he did to me, it would dirty his image. When everything ended, I stopped the support, because why will I keep supporting someone who has f*cked me over?”

She continued, “It’s so funny that when he and I stopped being friends, and he left his label, Ground Up, that’s when his career dwindled, and they gave me this tag as bad luck.”

Kwesi Arthur's response

Efia Odo's statements on the podcast triggered Kwesi Arthur. In a series of rants on X, the rapper lambasted her and threatened legal action against anyone who would henceforth discuss or use him for clout.
