One of the members of former Hiplife group Praye, Eugene Baah Boadu known in showbiz as Choirmaster has finally explained what caused the breakup of the hiplife trio, Praye.

According to Choirmaster, Praye Tintin got a contract while they were together and started to record as a solo artiste. They had a meeting and Praye Tintin disclosed to them that, he wanted to embark on a solo project and that he was about releasing his singles.

He together with Praye Tietia, then gave him the chance to carry on with his project. It would be recalled that they started as individual artistes and later merged as a group because of the Nescafe Africa Revelation held some years ago.

They stayed as a group for some years and released hits like “Angelina” “Wo Din” “Jacket” and several others.

He disclosed in the interview that, after Praye Tintin left, Big J Cartel and himself decided to still stick together and sing as a group but things didn’t really go well since they started as a trio and ending up as a duo, made things quite difficult for them.

Choirmaster mentioned that, the two of them, then decided to go solo and put Praye on hold. He refuted the allegation that their wives were responsible for their breakup.

Talking about Praye’s comeback, he said there could be a possibility of a reunion of the trio if things are put in place legally since he is now signed onto Blue Rose Entertainment Label.

He further stated that he has a cool relationship with the other members and that Praye Tintin called him some few days ago for a meeting to talk about the reunion.

Choirmaster also revealed that he makes more money as a solo artiste than when he was in the group. He said his fans should expect his 30-track album soon and his fashion brand “CM Wear”.

Choirmaster is married to actress Beverly Afaglo with a charming daughter. He has hits like “Pull Him Down” and “Ghana’s Most Beautiful”. He is currently the brand ambassador for Cheers Condom.
