Considered as one of the brightest talents of popular Afro Beat music, Predy X shot to prominence when rumors emerge last year that sensational music duo, P-Square were on the verge of signing him onto their Square Records label.
The rumor which went viral stated that the music duo considered the Ghanaian star as a replacement for May D, who had been booted out of the record label due to “irreconcilable difference”. The management of Square Records later issued a statement denying knowledge of the news, describing it as “untrue”.
The management of X Entertainment also had to issue a statement debunking the rumor saying that “Square Records never approached our artist”. The statement also said the artiste was not expectant of any move since he was happy under the X Entertainment record label.
The video was directed by Nana of Urban Power Play and indeed it projects an African-urban lifestyle.
