Prince David Osei under fire for 'stealing' a baby to 'fool' Ghanaians

On Easter Sunday, social media was awashed with congratulatory messages for actor Prince David Osei and his wife.

The actor had posted on his Instagram page that he had had a baby girl with his wife, Lousia Nana Ama Aseiduwaa.

Fans were happy for the couple, hence the many congratulatory messages. Prince posted a photo of himself and the supposed baby girl with the caption:

“Awwww Thank God! finally my spermatozoa made it..Welcome Queen,pls help me celebrate my people....Elohim be praised..Happy New Month!Christ is risen,a queen is born HAPPY APRIL FOOL.”

But just a day after, the actor has spoken again concerning the birth of the baby, saying it is a complete ‘April Fool’ prank.

He has posted on Instagram saying: “…....So, in a nutshell, I wish to say in no particular order, that pay no hid to the April 1st post, because whether you insult me or laugh out loud in your homes. I want to say in plain English language is thank you for being there and making this year's April Fool Day a memorable one..Love you all..pls no vex..YESTERDAY POST WAS APRIL FOOL.”

His post have angered some of his fans who believe it was too an expensive joke to make, and they have lambasted him for it.

Gm lovely people,I want to take time to express my profound gratitude and admiration.Firstly, I want elucidate the rational behind my infamous post yesterday April 1st,some people thought it was a PRANK,because it was 1st of April,but believe you me, was never my intention or objective to abuse your sensual faculty by provoking your ecstatic anatomy to ascertain the veracity of my post.
