Prof. Abbeam outlines 3 principles to tackle corruption

The chancellor of Abbeam Institute of Technology, Prof. Abbeam Ampomah Danso on November 13, 2015, ended his Greater Accra phase of the “Time With Prof. Abbeam Education Tour” at Jubilee Senior High School, Sampa-Valley, New Weija.

Addressing over 1500 Senior High Students drawn from Jubilee SHS, Odonte Otintor SHS, Omega College and Pan African SHS, Prof. Abbeam outlined truthfulness, honesty and loyalty as the three principles required and needed to be instilled in young students in order to tackle corruption in Ghana.

He defined a corrupt person as ‘A person who do not follow the laws or regulations of the land’.

To him it is when young students are thought the values of truthness, honesty, loyalty and patriotism that Ghana can tackle the corruption problem we face thus the Education Tour across the country to instill fear in Senior High Schools both in the private and public schools.

He counselled the young students not to run away from the trainings they receive from their parents and teachers both at home and in school since shortcuts will land them in corrupt practices such as examination malpractices.

Prof. Abbeam further charged the young students to be patriotic and report corrupt practices to the police for an action to be taken against the culprits.

The ‘Time With Prof.Abbeam Education Tour’ in December will be in the Eastern Region.
