Promoting music is expensive in Ghana- Sinami

Up-and-coming artiste Michael Gyabaa Manu, popularly known as SINAMI on The Roger Muntu show on Voice of America says promotion in Ghana is expensive.

Sinami who just completed school and is into music full time now made this pronunciation in an interview with American broadcaster Roger Muntu. The artiste responded to a question asking challenges facing up and coming artiste in Ghana.

“The real work is with promotion, on radio, online and even on the streets. You have to invest a huge sum of money and time to get your project out there in the public and to the consumers.”

The artiste who released a project titled ‘Kpetekple’ which was to address issues concerning his root, SOMANYA in the Eastern region also mentioned the cost of production as one factor affecting the quality of sounds out there as they, up and coming artiste, can’t afford to pay for the quality they desire.

Host Roger Muntu was so excited having the young talent on and praised his prowess and wished him well.

Sinami is set to release his first single of 2020 on 1st January titled THIS YEAR.
