Race for the one begins as contestants enter house

The race of who becomes the ‘The One’, the coveted presenter that YFM is hunting for has begun as the ten finalists enter the house to begin the competition.

Throughout the six weeks in the house, contestants will be mentored and coached by radio professionals and experts to showcase their very best.

The ten passionate and ambitious young men and women will be exposed to many lessons in radio while they display their talents in radio presenting. Every week they will be given a challenge to produce a radio jingle, interview celebrities, and many others.

The ten finalists will be split into two teams of five and every week listeners of YFM and viewers of e.TV get to choose which team did a better job in the challenges and vote for them. The losing team then gets to vote off their weakest member.

‘The One’ is a realty show focused on grooming a young individual who is creative, charismatic, ambitious, funny and most importantly is extremely passionate about being a radio presenter.

Patrons can catch the contestants on YFM’s Myd Morning Radio Show with Trigmatic every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10am. However, there will be an omnibus of the show on e.TV Ghana every Sunday at 7:30pm.
