The James Town Community Court was completely stunned when a 47-year-old man, Mr Jeffrey Kwame Asamoah broke down in tears when his girlfriend Eunice Vanderpuye told the Court that he raped her sister.

According to the Prosecution, Mr. Asamoah went to his girlfriend’s house but met her absence. The only person in the house at that moment was his girlfriend’s 16-year-old sister.

Prosecution revealed that when Mr. Asamoah entered into Eunice’s room, her sister was lying on the bed. He pounced on her and forcibly had sex with her.

Eunice told the Court that while he was raping her little sister, her brother walked in and caught him struggling with the girl.

The story however took a different turn when the alleged victim told the Court that she was never raped. She said they were lying on her sister’s bed conversing when her brother walked in.

When asked by the Court why she told the Police in her statement that she was raped, she said she was confused at that time and did not know what to do.

Eunice’s brother, Bismark Vanderpuye told the Court that he caught Mr. Asamoah with his own eyes raping his sister and that his sister wants to save Mr. Asamoah from shame because of the things he has been buying for her.

Meanwhile the Medical Report presented to the Court shows that there was no sexual contact between the victim and Mr. Asamoah.

The court granted Mr. Asamoah a 3 million cedis bail with a surety to reappear at later date.
