Ghanaian musician, Raquel says women in the Ghana music industry face a lot of difficulties and do not get enough support from their male colleagues.

She was with Kwame Poku (DJ Scientific) on last weekend’s edition of the Focus Citi Show on Focus FM.

The songstress also bared her heart on some personal issues such as her love life, saying that she has had some very crazy relationships and would encourage young ladies to proceed with caution towards relationships.

She further advises the ladies, “….. if love is what you want, give it a hundred per cent …..and if you know you are not ready for it, just do your little one night stands if you are happy with it or just don’t be in it at all”.

She also talked a bit about her “lovi dovi” video slated for premiering on the 30th November at the Club Invasion, Kristy’s Lounge, East Legon. She also says her new album “@ 25” will be out soon though she could not mention a date.

She hinted at a possible re-release of an earlier song “Pressure” ; a collaboration with Guru, because she feels many people have still not heard the song.
