Rare video of Sarkodie, D Cryme rapping in their early days surfaces online

Rare footage of Ghana’s celebrated artiste, Sarkodie, and his colleague, D Cryme has surfaced on the internet causing music lovers to swim in happiness.

One can arguably say it’s a new year gift due to the timing of which the video has surfaced online.

The video, monitored by GhanaWeb saw the “Saara” based rapper demonstrating his tongue-twisting skills whereas D Cryme also made the most out of the hip pop beat that was playing in the background.

It will be recalled in 2015 that D Cryme teamed up with Sarkodie to release a banger titled, “Koko Sakora”, which dominated the music charts, streets, clubs and every function you can ever think during that time.

Meanwhile, Sarkodie was recently in the news for attributing his ‘slowness’ in career to his fatherly responsibilities at a point.

Explaining his assertions to talk show host, Kweku Sintim-Misa on the KSM show, the popular rapper said;

“It’s a great thing to be a father, it’s actually what I imagined and more but it has it’s downside, you don’t notice the downside but with time you get to realize that you need to do what you were doing and not put a hold to it because someone new came into your life and that’s what has happened to me. It has slowed me down! I thought nothing else mattered,” He revealed.

Apologising to his fans for not making it up to them, the artiste stated that; “ I’m sorry, this is new, to SackNation, I use to update you about my “moves” but when Titi came in I didn’t really care about you guys”.

“Till now, I’ve not really snapped out of it hundred percent (100%) but I just realized I need to work,” He indicated.
