The saying that that ?if at first you don?t succeed try again? might best fit Rebecca Ayisi aka Mama Becky who even though missed the mark with her first album is out to try again with her second album, Yesu Beye.

Mama Becky?s first album ?Nkunimidie Aba? did not perform the way she wanted and disappoint her greatly but did not deter her from singing even though it has taken a while her first.

With her enthusiasm for gospel music and a desire on her heart that her songs be an avenue to soothe people?s worries and get their problems solved and also get others repented, it is no surprise that she will not give up.

?Yesu Beye? is an eight cassette and 14 CD album and hopefully will be the one that will give Becky what she has been looking for, success and a means to also get her message across.

?Abandenden?, allows Mama Becky to show off her great voice to perfection with the song in the mid-tempo vein. The beat will be familiar to most people as it sample from the song. ?Top of the World?, sung by American group, The Carpenters.

She sings in praise to God for all that he has done for mankind by shedding his blood to redeem them from their sins and also by rescuing from the grips of the devil.

On ?Nkunimidie Aba?, Becky sings that victory has come for her because God has raised his hand over life. She acknowledges Him for helping her through trails and for making her worthy when she did not even merit.

In the mid-tempo vein, with a highlife rhythm, the song will be enjoyed by the lyrics which will be appreciated by anybody who has found him or herself in any form of trouble.

?Obonsam Akodie? has a jazzy rhythm that makes the song more beautiful. Becky gives us new hope by singing that all the devil?s machinations will come to naught, because whatever God says about us will come true no matter what.

?The devil can do all he can, take us wherever he wants to but he will not succeed because God has spoken?, she says. Other songs on the album include ?W?akyire Medin?, ?Me wo ogyefo?, ?Odamafo?, ?Edima? and ?Yesu Beye?.

The third of four children one of her future aspirations is to ran an orphanage due to the passion she has for children. In the present though, along with her family they are caring for about 300 children in Kumasi where she lives.

All songs were composed by Rebecca and recorded at Ear Studio, in Takoradi, Apollo. It is distributed by U Name It Productions.
