Rebecca Malope To Perform Live In Ghana In 'Kiss His Glory'

The atmosphere at the National Theatre will on Independence Day, 6th March 2011, be utterly turned into a haven of God when gospel music revelers and enthusiasts are offered the opportunity to witness and experience Queen of African Gospel and 2003 KORA All African Music Award for Best Gospel Singer Rebecca MALOPE and the 2011 Discovery Nana ADJEI PERBI, live in action.

Arguably, the continent’s most celebrated and admired songstress, Rebecca Malope, who has released over 31 albums in a music career spanning nearly three decades, is promising a night that will touch the hearts of many and forever be etched on the minds of patrons.

Dubbed, “KISS HIS GLORY”, the musical extravaganza is being put together by Selfless WORSHIPPERS Incorporated in partnership with the South African High Commission, under the auspices of the Government of Ghana and will feature some of the most awe-inspiring gospel singers in the country, including No Tribe, Soul Winners, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Winneba Youth Choir, School for the Blind, Cecilia Marfo, Uncle Ato & Many More at 4pm.

Though not a stranger to African culture, it will be her first time performing on the shores of Ghana, nonetheless the internationally acclaimed and crowd puller is prepared to really sing her heart out when she performs such popular and chart-topping hits like ‘Ngibemuhle Nam’, ‘Thank You Lord’, ‘Ukuzenza’, ‘Ngiyekeleni’, ‘Umoya wam,’ among others.

Nana Adjei Perbi, though young in years, but old of wisdom, is a household name already on the gospel scene, and is sure to uplift the spirit of music lovers with songs such as ’Halal Praise’, ‘Onua’, ‘N’adom’, ‘It’s Raining’, ‘Goodbye World’, etc.
