Blossoming Ghanaian talent Maa Adwoa signed under Clark Ville Music Record has urged his colleague female artistes to respect their talent and refrain from riding on nudity and profanity to be popular.

According to Maa Adwoa who recently dropped her debut single ‘Fine Boy’, nudity and profanity in the music industry do not help most of the artiste to disseminate the right message to the public.

In an interview, she said, “some of the up and coming female artistes want to use nudity and profanity to blow and it’s not really helping. They should value and respect music genuinely. Most of them are not known for their talent but rather something that is far from music.”

Maa Adwoa says her ‘Fine Boy’ was inspired by her last breakup.

"Well, I had my inspiration from my last break up when I could easily relate to a chorus my producer made, so I poured my heart out and made the song.”

She added that "our music industry can't be compared to other country's... but it's getting better... proud to say that most Ghanaian music is being recognized worldwide, so it's getting better with time... and I'm definitely going be part of the success stories of Ghana music industry.”

Maa Adwoa is an afro-pop and R&B singer, young and energetic. She is inspired by Ghanaian songstress Efya. Her songs are inspired by her life experiences and are motivated by all the genres of music.

“I learn from every genre of song and I’m not limited to only afro-pop and R&B”.

She says, her songs are matured commercial songs.

"I am not the ordinary profane kind of Artist. I have a passion for music and I decided it was time I let the world know what I’m capable of.”

Maa Adwoa doubles as a songwriter and sometimes employ the services of a ghostwriter. She promises to give music lovers the best of her craft.
