Gospel Music diver and ordained Minister of God, Rev. Obaapa Christy is set to release a new single titled: Hallelujah Hosanna, a song that will cement her status as one of the most consistent Gospel Musicians in the country as far as churning out hit songs are concerned.

Known for releasing top quality songs in the Akan language, The ‘Mete Ase’ (I’m Alive) hitmaker took a more exotic route on her upcoming single, 'Hallelujah Hosanna' and it is set to make Gospel lovers question why she has hidden that side of her for almost 15 years since bursting into the music scene. With countless praises, worship and intercessory songs dominating the music scene a decade and over, her versatility has never been in doubt.

'Hallelujah Hosanna' though, is a whole new dimension, a different class and complete attestation to how she has matured in the industry after years of handwork.

It is soothing, refreshing, heart-warming, a song Cece Winans, Juanita Bynum or any A-List artist would love to own but Obaapa Christy is the one chosen to own and owns she did.

In terms of production quality and content, the song is going to propel the singer who was deemed to have peaked years ago to even higher heights if it gets the right push.

Like a classical Hillsong Worship, Hallelujah Hosanna is a song of praise for the Most High, a prayer song for the believer and one that should draw anyone seeking to have an intimate relation with God from a place of deep knowledge closer to him.

It's a song for prayers, a song for the believer who wants to strengthen his faith in the Lord during difficult times in life. Knowing who God gives great assurance, this is what Obaapa Christy set out to achieve.

Speaking in an interview with this reporter, Obaapa Christy called on Ghanaians and corporate organisations to support Gospel Music like they do to other genres because it comes with uplifting contents that improve a nation's relationship with God.

She also indicated that the decision to produce a song of that nature which is a great departure from the kind of tunes she is known for is to reach out to a larger audience with God's word through music.

Set to be officially released on 3rd March, the song is available for pre-order on all major digital platforms.
