Reverend Bernard Amankwah opens up about why he's not married yet

Gospel musician, Reverend Bernard Amankwah has opened up about his marital status and personal life.

During an interview with Hitz FM on September 6, 2024, Reverend Bernard Amankwah confirmed that he is not married but expressed hope for the future, saying, "By the grace of God, we will do it."

When asked why it has taken him so long to settle down, Reverend Amankwah explained that he had faced a lot of challenges in his early years and had vowed not to subject any child to the same challenges he faced growing up.

“I was brought up by a single parent. It was my mother who took care of us. And we've gone through a lot. Growing up without a father is something that you would not want anybody to go through.

“So I vowed to myself that I will not take any child through this kind of challenge that I have faced in life. So it's a guiding principle that keeps me going. And also, when God placed his hand on me, it worsened the situation," he said.

Reverend Amankwah also mentioned that his dedication to his faith and calling has influenced his personal decisions.

He added that while he is not a virgin, his focus has been on his spiritual journey and responsibilities.
