Top Ghanaian gospel artiste, Cecilia Marfo, is billed to perform live at a show dubbed ‘Voice of Fire’ this October at the Roman Catholic Parish Hall, Agona Swedru in the Central Region on September 30.
The auditorium of the Roman Catholic Parish Hall is expected to be filled with tons of music lovers who would witness the best of Cecilia Marfo at the show.
‘Voice of Fire’, a talent show, is being organized by Rhythms of African Music Foundation (RAMF), a South African and Ghanaian-based NGO, to develop musical talents in the youth in the region.
RAMF has so far helped participants of ‘Voice of Fire’ to develop their musical careers.
In an interview with the Executive Director of RAMF, George William Dickson, he said RAMF had put in place recording packages for the winners.
He disclosed that the NGO, in collaboration with the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), would soon organise a workshop at Coastal TV, Cape Coast, on October 5, 2011, to educate, empower and develop the musicians.
