Prophet Kumchaacha
Self styled Prophet, Rev. Kumchaacha has said Rex Omar and other leadership of the Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO) will soon die same way Ananias in the bible died.
Prophet Kumchaacha descended heavily on leadership of the Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO), after they indicated their desire to make churches pay royalties.
According to him, Chairman of the organisation, Rex Owusu Marfo (Rex Omar), will suffer an agonizing death if he does not reverse the decision on taking royalties from the church.
Rex Omar recently announced plans to start taking royalties from the churches across the country. He said, ”yes, we are considering that. We are putting in place the necessary measures to let churches pay royalties because they also use musicians’ intellectual property.”
But speaking to host of Abusua FM‘s late afternoon drive time show, Ike De-Unpredictable, Prophet Kumchaacha said, “I think it is the most satanic decision I have heard so far and it is something that shouldn’t even be a thought about.”
“The church is a place of praise and worship, not a business or entertainment place. So we pray for Ghanaians including these musicians,” he charged.
“For me, I am warning them, if they don’t change their minds soon, what befall them is calamity and miserable death just as happened to Ananias,” he warned.
