It's quite unusual for a highlife musician to endorse a hip-life artiste, simply because hip-life artists are perceived to be lacking originality.
Surprisingly, legendary high-life musician- Rex Omar- has erased that perception by endorsing Choir Master's yet to be released album titled 'Catwalk'.
Rex Omar, who listened to the tracks during an interview Dj Perfekt granted Choir Master on Kasapa FM, a local radio station in Accra, sent Choir Master a congratulatory message; and this is what he wrote:
"I listened to your interview and the tracks on your new album and must say I'm very impressed and proud of you.Congrats for the hard work done, and be encouraged because hard work with absolute faith in God always pays off.Take care and stay blessed in Jesus name."
Choir Master, expressing his mood to Reagan Mends of Seancitygh.com about Rex Omar's gesture also said:
"Aww chaley!! For a congratulatory message to come from a legend like him, I'm deeply honored. It's good he has seen a lot of what plenty people couldn't see and are yet to see," he said with much elation.
Choir Master, also known as Praye Honeho and a former ardent member of the illustrious hip-life musical group, Praye, is due to release the 'Catwalk' album in January 2016.
It features celebrated hip-life group, 4×4 and was engineered by mix master garzy.
Some tracks on the album are Gmb, pull him down, saved by grace, lastborn, koseenyo, obsession, catwalk, bedroom cheers.
