WITH the outdooring of his debut gospel album last Saturday, Brew Riverson Jnr has confirmed his true love — music. His numerous fans who have admired him for his acting talent may be disappointed but the man intends to follow his gospel music make-up more often now.

This came to light at the premiere launching of his first-born album which he calls Jesus I Love You, during which he sang and danced to the amazement of the excited audience who had filled every available seat at the Adabraka Presby Church Hall. The album has nine songs, five of which were written by him, the other four are from Christian Asor Nwom (The Methodist Hymn Book) of course with more flavour being added to them.

Mr Charles Owusu of Calvary Baptist Church, Adenta Mission did the launching of the album. Before the launch, the audience were treated to performances by Lady Angie, Grace Ashie, Joyce Coleman and Brew himself. Brew’s numerous fans may not be seeing much of him now because Brew says he is going to devote his time spreading the word through song ministration, a calling he believes is long overdue, but that is not to say he is quitting the screen for good.

“Singing is something I have always wanted to do, acting seems to have submerged that part of me,” he told Showbiz a couple of months ago.
