Roger Quartey Fights Back With New Movie

With over hundred movies as a production manager, actor and producer Roger Harold Quartey believes the time has come to make the world know what he is capable of doing when it comes to film writing, marketing and production.

In a chat with him over the weekend at his residence, Roger outlined to Flex newspaper his objectives of setting up his own production house which he calls Roger Q production (RQP). “Yes I believe I have helped to raise the standard of the Ghanaian movie industry by working with so many production houses and I think Roger Q has a lot to offer to the next generation to come” he said.

Mr. Quartey who starts shooting today revealed that his production house brings in something different in which movie fans as well as artistes will love to be part of. “With my experience in the industry, I am looking forward to blending the already existing artistes with the new ones.

It is high time we give the upcoming artistes the chance to expose their talents to the highest level” Roger revealed. The movie titled “Vanity” tells a story about a wealthy man who was murdered by his own son because he wanted to take over his property. On the day of sharing the property amongst the children, an unknown lady appeared from nowhere claiming to be the daughter of the rich man.

The said rich man never told anybody whiles alive and here stands a total stranger asking for a share of the cherry. Now the question is was the said daughter given anything? What happens to the children? Was there any property to be shared at all? Find out in this block buster of a movie which is full of deceit, lies suspense and intrigues to be premiered at the silver bird cinema very soon.

Directed by Frank Rajah, the movie stars the likes of Jackie Appiah, John Dumelo, Yvonne Nelson, Martha Ankomah, Kalsoum Sinare, Eddie Nartey, Kofi Adjorlolo, Frank Artus, Timothy Bentum, Ben Kwadey and a host of other up coming actors. “We are not here to challenge anybody but to help the Ghanaian movie industry move from strength to strength” Roger added.
