Management of TV3 Network Limited (TV3 Ghana), a private, free-to-air television broadcast station, has debunked reports that two renowned senior newscasters, Roland Walker and Nana Aba Anamoah, have been sacked.

Director of Operations of TV3, Ato Sarpong, in an interview with Nana Yaa Konadu during Peace FM News@12, denied the report.

Grapevine sources had it that the two were reportedly fired over some comments they allegedly passed on the Kennedy Agyapong incarceration and subsequent charge cum bail.

But Ato Sarpong claims there is no iota of truth in the report that management of the Kanda-based television station has relieved the two of their duties following the alleged negative comments they are reported to have made.

According to him, the station's newsroom department will first take a decision on the matter, granted that it was true, before management might even come in.

"...we've heard of the report (that management of TV3 has sacked Roland and Nana Aba)..., but wherever the story is coming from i can state emphatically that it is not true...i commend PeaceFM for seeking to find out from us the veracity of the report before going ahead with the story...it is not true...the two are still members of staff of TV3...," Ato Sarpong said.
