It has come to my notice from entries that have been received so far, that most people do not understand the format for the ongoing Ameyaw Debrah Talent Hunt competition. The competition basically aims to find and assist talented musicians who have their own songs or raps that need recording, production and promotion.
Winners will have free studio time with top music producers to record the songs that they enter into the talent search. Winners will have their singles recorded and promoted on radio and other platforms for them, as well as make revenue in the case of sales on their songs. The ultimate winner will also receive a top class music video for the winning single that would be promoted on local television and pan-African networks.
To enter the search, send in a video performance/audition of your song or rap. A full song would be ideal but a verse plus chorus of the song would be great! The songs must be original, and video must be simple with no editing or extra pictures, as the focus would be on the song only.
Competition is not limited to Ghanaians, it is internet based and winners would be chosen based on public voting. Submit videos either directly or in a link from any source to competitions@ameyawdebrah.com or by post to
