Russian promoter sues Sarkodie $12,000 for ‘No Show’

Russia-based Ghanaian DJ and promoter, Lawrence Ampene Larson Darko has served rapper, Sarkodie (Michael Owusu Addo) with a writ.

He claimed that the rapper owes him a total $11,656 in damages for an event that was meant to hold in Russia for which Sarkodie didn’t show up for.

Thus, the charges are for the cost of promotions, accommodation and travel expenses accrued in preparations for the show.

Sarkodie recently released two songs dubbed 'Asante Ni' and 'Hand To Mouth' for his fans.
