SM fan surprises Shatta Wale with an artwork on stage

Dancehall king, Shatta Wale on Saturday got the biggest surprise of his life as a fan presented to him an artwork to honour his contribution to Ghanaian music.

The art, which had his picture and the title of the album ‘Reign’ was designed by a guy named Razak.

Shatta Wale upon seeing the artwork couldn’t hold back his tears as he was astonished to see the love bestowed on him on such a great day on the official launch of his ‘Reign’ album.

In a viral video on social media, the SM fan dressed in a designed reign hoodie with shorts bowed to the feet of Shatta Wale in a form of appraisal, he was later brought back to his feet to enjoy a lasting hug from the dancehall king.

The reign album was launched on October 13, 2018 at the Fantasy Dome inside Trade fair in Accra.

The four-hour event saw the self-acclaimed dancehall king perform some of his old and newest tracks to the tumultuous fans who had thronged the venue to support him.

The ‘Reign’ album has seventeen tracks and according to the artiste, although he loves all the songs on the album, his favourite is Exodus because it is inspired by his real life struggles.

Some invited artistes alongside the Militants performed to grace the occasion.
