Twenty-three-year-old Miss Salamatu Issifu, who last week won Spacefon's "Snappy Car Promotion", was yesterday presented with a brand new Peugeot 307 salon car by the management of Scancom Limited, operators of Spacefon.
In her acceptance speech, Miss Issifu, who is a student at Bolgatanga, lauded the transparency of the whole promotion and thanked the management of Scancom for the competition.
"I want to assure the 'Doubting Thomases' that the fact that the winner of this competition comes from the north, especially from the Upper East Region, shows the fairness of the competition", Miss Issifu said.
Sounding philosophical, Miss Issifu said, "Spacefon has become one of the foundation pillars in my life," and expressed her determination to build on it to greater heights. Dubbed "Win A Snappy Car Promotion", the promotion, had a brand new Peugeot 307 Salon car as the grand prize.
Prospective customers had to purchase Spacefon's Starter Pack between August 11 and September 30 this year at a heavily discounted price of ?270,000 to be entered in the draw.
