Salma Mumin New Movie Star In The Making

As it has always been our wish to bring to you some upcoming movie Actresses in Ghana who are doing extremely well in the country, we came across Salma Mumin who has acted in few movies.

In an interview with her, she revealed to flex newspaper that she started her movie career four years back with Venus films productions and through that she landed a role in a movie called passion and soul with AA Production. Since many movie markers wanted her to grace their bed before they give her roles, she decided to stay off the screen to concentrate on her education till her friend called Olivia mends introduced her to Kobi Rana.

She continued that although she hasn’t featured in many movies yet, she has had the opportunity to act with Nigerian movie stars like Tonto Dike through Young father productions and described them as actors she would always like to work with

According to her, after meeting Kobbi Rana, he also introduced her to Muda so when he saw the capability in her, he decided to give her the opportunity to play a supporting role in his new movie which is making waves, “Although the movie is not yet out, many people who were on set have spread the word to other movie producers which gave me the opportunity to feature in the Beast and seduction which is already out “she said.

When flex asked her if she will play a nude scene when given the chance, she replied that she will not go nude in any movie but can play romantic scenes because she believes its not part of our culture. the only advice she has for her pals who go nude because of money and fame is that, they will not realize that effect now but in the near future they will regret it.

Talking about some of the problems she is facing as an upcoming actress, she hinted that the problem she is facing is the main problem all the movie stars are facing. the fact that many producer don’t pay them well “the fact is that ,even if you charge them for a role in a movie they will not give you that amount. Meanwhile when you refuse it, another colleague will come for the role and she will take that small money:she added

As a senior high school gradute, we asked her if she has any plans of going back to school, she responded that even if she goes back to school, she will not come out to do anything than acting so if she has any school to attend, then it will obviously be acting college.

Narrating the role she played in the new movie coming from Muda films, she revealed playing a role of Mariama who came from the north to the city without any one to help her in life. Along the line she met a friend called Baba who introduced her to prostitution starting all her woes and struggles in the movie
