Salma, Wiyaala, others star in ‘No Man’s Land’ movie

Ghanaian energetic and sensational songstress Wiyaala is making her debut appearance as an actress in a new movie titled ‘No man’s Land’.

‘No man’s Land’ is produced by Salma Mumin and directed by Pascal Amanfo starring Adjetey Annan, Salma Mumin, Wiyaala, Deyemi, Doris Sacketey, KOD, Yaayaa and Nicky Samonas

In an exclusive interview with Ghanaweb.com, Salma Mumin said, “No Man’s Land was created to identify with the hard looking Africa’s scene that exudes the real value of Africans’ strength and natural beauty.”

She further indicated, “We are producing a movie that is different from others, and for it to be recognized as a different movie, we created an invention, such as costumes and location, in our way to showcase a real picture of Africa. Our invention is reflected in the creation of No Man’s Land”.

It is perceived that for a great movie to be recognized, popular faces in the industry must dominate it.

However, Salma Mumin has a contrary opinion, she exhibited her decision to use only a few popular faces.

She concluded saying, “We created this movie to change the perception of what it takes to produce good storyline. Reflection of this purpose is indicated in our choice of using characters that fit into every role in No Man’s Land movie”.
