Hundreds of movie lovers yesterday, January 8, 2016, thronged the premises of Silverbird Cinema, Accra Mall, to catch the first glimpse of Sparrows movies and series yet to be released in 2016; “Rebecca and Shampaign”.
The 2-days screening dubbed ‘Sparrow Entertainment Festival 2016’ yesterday saw the presence of Zynnel Zuh, Akorfa Edjeani Aseidu, Yvonne Okoro, Joseph Benjamin, Joselyn Dumas, Blossom Chukwujeku, Roseline Okoro and CPP’s Samia Nkrumah, among others, gracing the red carpet.
Ghana’s Yvonne Okoro and Nigeria’s Joseph Benjamin again proved why they are one of the best actors in Africa with their movie ‘Rebecca’.
A two cast only movie, the duo kept movie lovers in suspense with their intriguing talent and left them yearning for more at the end of the movie.
If you missed the screening, let me take you through the synopsis again; “In the two-cast movie, Joseph Benjamin plays the role of a city man who is forced to marry a village girl (Yvonne Okoro), whom he later finds out is not an ordinary girl when they’re both abandoned in the middle of nowhere.
