Dancehall artiste Shatta Rako has called multiple award winning artiste Samini an attention seeker following the release of Bro Emma’s new song ‘vex mad’.

In an interview with Sammy Flex on Pluzz FM on Wednesday, Shatta Rako stated that he sees nothing wrong with ‘diss’ songs so far as both parties keep it purely lyrical and entertaining.

Answering a question concerning a Facebook post he made Rako the said he knows Samini to be a very wise a strategic person and releasing this song will keep him relevant and draw a lot of attention to himself in the music scene.

‘If you push me to the wall I will say that we all know that Samini is gone down in the game. I mean we all know he is very wise and strategic Samini knows when he releases this song it will create attention, that is why you have even called me this morning. So I just feel he needs attention that’s all.

The only thing that’s making him relevant is that his has been in the system for long and in the past ten years he has been able to gather some big fan base and loyal fans and those are the people he is holding onto now but generally in the industry he is really gone down.

If I were Bandana I wouldn’t reply if Bandana is listening he should keep his cool. I have not listened to the song, but I heard he has released a ‘diss’ song trying to get at Wale but we all know has apologised to everybody he has wronged and sleeping dogs are lying so if you come back with a ‘diss’ song it’s obvious attention is what Samini need. I am sure there are a lot of people who will reply on the behave of Shatta Wale so he should just relax’.

I don’t have an issue with Samini, but I feel he is someone who always wants to be in the light. Somewhere 2007 I was on radio with KOD and Samini bumped into the studio from nowhere and I realised he started using attacking lyrics on the show I was on.

Shatta Rako finally added ‘Samini is not really my friend Bandana is’.
