Few days after Sarkodie released his #Kanta track which was meant to be a response to M.anifest’s #godMC, Dancehall musician, Samini has expressed his views about the ongoing feud between the self-acclaimed rap king and the self-elect rap god.

Samini, who made his second appearance on Ghana’s biggest celebrity and lifestyle show, Celebrity Fanzone on Viasat1 last Saturday, also had a few words for his longtime music rival, Shatta Wale after the latter made certain remarks about him on Twitter.

Reacting to a question by co-host Jessica Opare Saforo about the banter between him and Shatta Wale on social media, Samini stated, “I wasn’t sure that was the official account of him [Shatta Wale], I checked his Twitter account and there was no blue tick so I wasn’t sure who it was. That account mentions me a lot. I thought it was one of those fanatics, one of those die-hard fans because that account gives me pressure…”

The “Linda” hit maker also waded into the recent Sarkodie-M.anifest controversy insisting that the latter’s godMC was a better song in terms of lyrical dexterity than that of Sarkodie. “When I heard the track [godMC], I appreciated the effort in the song, the rap skill and the intellect behind the song. I think ‘Kanta’ could have been done with less emotion so it doesn’t come across as an insult, rather than a response,” Samini stated.

However, guest panelist and co-host, Caroline Sampson who couldn’t hide her admiration for the CEO of the Highgrade music group had a slightly different view about the ongoing feud between the two rappers.

“If you break it down, M.anifest will score some points, Sarkodie will also score some points but Sarkodie is a bigger artiste now even though M.anifest still got it,” Caroline argued.
