Ghanaian reggae giant, Samini, has been named as the headline act for the first African Stage at the annual “UPSTREAM MUSIC FESTIVAL” come June 2 at the Pioneer Square in Seattle, USA.

This comes as a great follow-up to his headline performance at the first-ever Afrobeats Perth Festival in South Perth Foreshore back in March.

Upstream Music Festival is a 3-day event happening at over 15 venues with over 200 artistes from all over the world. It is scheduled to happen from 1st to 3rd June.

Speaking to Mr. Simon Javan Okelo, the founder of One Vibe Africa, the curators of the first African stage at Upstream, he confirmed that there couldn’t be a better headline performer from Africa than Samini for such a ground-breaking event in the history of the festival due his status as a long serving African Music Legend, class and mastery in live performances which is a representation of Samini’s brand over a long number of years.

After back to back performances from the beginning of the year, Samini has been seen on almost every big stage in Ghana giving to his fans his notable electric and engaging performances. Keep soaring higher Samini.
