The record has been set straight about singer Samini’s involvement with Madhaus Inc., a newly established record company in Accra. Samini’s manager, Tony Pundaning told Showghana.com that there hasn’t been any agreement whatsoever between his artist and Madhaus.

The media interpreted talks between the two parties as seal to a full record deal. “We were just in talks to find out what they were bringing to the table,” he said.

Many have been under the impression for the past weeks and months that Samini was actually one of the signings on the Madhaus label. There have even been rumours of a new Samini album on that label but his management team says; ‘no, not that fast-don’t believe the hype’.

Tony also revealed the upcoming release of a new Samini single in the next few days, a precursor to his third album. The MTN music ambassador is to release an album on Samini Music record label for the first time this year. Some observers refer to it as ‘the real Samini album’. The album features reggae giants Steel Pulse, Etana, Nigeria’s sweet singer- Faze, the Ghanaian who runs things in the UK- Sway, Double HP from South Africa among others.

High expectations await Samini’s next release but his manager says it’s designed to set another standard altogether on the music scene, not just in Ghana but also across the globe.
